Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along. Just do the following:
Grab your current read.
Open to a random page.
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teasers:
"For a moment I do not see the cardinal's worried face. I do not see the hard expression of Thomas Howard." Pg. 392, "The White Queen" by Philippa Gregory
Well that's my teaser for the week. What book or books did you feature in your post?
I've never read any Phillipa Gregory but I want to start reading more historical. This teaser sounds great! Makes me wonder why they're looking at them differently.
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl (4/5)
The Cat by Jean Johnson (3/5)
